While OVE follows the standard protocol for Country Program Evaluations agreed by the ECG community, namely to assess the relevance, efficiency, effectiveness and sustainability of IDB's program in each country, the diversity of country contexts require an evaluation approach that captures the country-specific nuances and formulates the right evaluation questions.

These evaluations assess the progress toward achieving country program objectives and provide input to help the preparation of new country strategies for these countries.
