South Africa: Staff Concluding Statement of the 2024 Article IV Mission
Washington, DC. An International Monetary Fund (IMF) mission, led by Anke Weber, and comprising David Bartolini, Fazurin Jamaludin, Jakree Koosakul and Hasan Toprak, conducted discussions for the 2024 Article IV Consultation with Albania during November 13-21. At the end of the visit, the mission issued the following statement:
IMF staff and the Ethiopian authorities have reached staff-level agreement on economic policies to conclude the second review of the four-year USD$ 3.4 billion ECF arrangement. Formal completion of the review by the IMF Executive Board would give Ethiopia access to financing of about US$251 million.
On November 22, 2024, the Executive Board of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) concluded the Article IV consultation with The Kingdom of Bahrain.
Samoa has witnessed a strong growth rebound over the last two years and has emerged from the pandemic with enhanced economic buffers.
