Vacancy announcements: Principal Evaluation Officers (2), Independent Development Evaluation Department, AfDB
The Independent Development Evaluation Department of the African Development Bank is currently looking for two Principal Evaluation Officers to join their team at AfDB Headquarters in Abijan, Cote d'Ivoire.
Under the general supervision of the Division Manager, the incumbent will:
- Manage evaluations of the Bank's activities including projects, countries, sectors or thematic and corporate priorities;
- Manage human and financial resources of a multi-disciplinary evaluation team to ensure the delivery of evaluations that are conducted in an independent, cost-effective, rigorous and timely manner.
- Support management and contribute to positioning IDEV as an innovator and leading-edge among other multilateral institutions and to maximise the effectiveness and efficiency of the Banks' evaluation function.
- Contribute to building strategic alliances and partnerships with key stakeholders within and outside the Bank to further the evaluation function's mandate.
