As Portfolio Analyst, you will contribute in the following way:
- Review project documents.
- Analyze data and information gathered through document reviews.
- Discern what worked and why, and distill lessons learned.
- Conduct statistical portfolio analysis.
- Complete other portfolio analysis tasks as requested
The IEO will provide quality assurance, methodological support and technical inputs.

Short-Term Consultant for the LDCF/SCCF Annual Evaluation Report 2024
The consultant will contribute in the following ways:
- Become familiar with the four GEF Trust fund evaluations and the LDCF/SCCF projects covered by the evaluations.
- Assess findings, conclusions, and recommendations of the four evaluations listed above providing adaptation nuances in the context of the LDCF and SCCF.
- Contribute to report writing.
- Contribute to addressing comments and finalizing the evaluation report.
The IEO will provide quality assurance, methodological support and technical inputs (such as the project documents database) as well as access to the documentation.
Qualifications - The candidate should have following qualifications:
- Advanced degree in a subject matter related to climate change, climate resilience or another related environmental field.
- Skilled professional with a minimum of 10 years in the field of environmental evaluation and/or related fields of agriculture and livelihoods, with 5 years of specific experience in evaluation of adaptation to climate change.
- Experience with and strong knowledge of LDCF/SCCF and other climate change funds.
- Preferred knowledge of and/or direct experience with the GEF and its Agencies.
- Demonstrated ability to work in multidisciplinary teams.
- Excellent presentation and communication skills; spoken and written English.
- Excellent software skills in Excel, experience in the use of SurveyMonkey preferred.
