The project was to improve and increase access to quality, polytechnical vocational education in line with employers’ needs and the aspirations of graduates. It aimed to support workforce development in five of the eight priority industry subsectors identified in the MP3EI (manufacturing, agrobusiness, infrastructure, energy, mining, and tourism). The project supported key policy reforms to strengthen polytechnic education through an integrated approach addressing equitable access, graduate employment outcomes, subsector management, and suitability and quality of study programs.
